Tragedy hit Virginia Tech today.

I sit at my keyboard in utter horror as this story unfolds. My prayers go out to all of the families involved. As an alumnus, you always want the best for you alma mater. I have no idea what this young man's situation is, but the thing that saddens me the most is that he though he had no alternatives.

My heart does swell with pride, in my watching of Hokie Nation banding together to support each other in a time when no one can make sense of the actions of that day.
